Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and determination to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) expert services during an engagement with the agency's senior professionals at a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled while in the 2024 matric examinations.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% on the registered pupils within the instruction sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
